Convention takes place in the London Road site of Reading University, based in its Great Hall, a popular concert venue, and its Music Education department. There is plenty of reasonably priced accommodation in the town centre, with special delegate deals at many. The site itself is compact and built around cloisters, so it’s straightforward to find your way round.

Our exhibition, registration, tea and coffee, lunch and some sessions will be in the Great Hall, labelled ‘A’. We are also using rooms in building B (the Music Education department) and building C. The cloisters are covered, so no need for a brolly between rooms!
Our delegate reception will be in the entrance to the Great Hall and will be manned by staff and volunteers throughout the weekend, so do come and see us if you’ve any questions – or just to say hello!

The London Road campus is just over 2 miles from junction 11 of the M4 motorway. The sat nav postcode for the main White Gates Car Park is RG1 5AG.
If you are travelling by car, please use the White Gates Car Park which is accessible from Crown Place which is just off the London Road. The White Gates Car Park has up to 200 parking spaces which are offered on a first come first served basis. There are disabled bays within close proximity to the Great Hall entrance. No parking permit is needed at the weekends and after 5pm on Friday: please do not park there earlier than this.

If you have requested a special diet, these should have been accounted for. Please check with catering staff, who have detailed lists.

Wheelchair access
Step-free access is available via the main entrance to the Great Hall, and there is also a back entrance located between the toilet block and the Great Hall. Please note there is no ramp as standard for the Great Hall stage.
Accessible toilet
An accessible toilet is available in the toilet block just outside the Great Hall.
