Reading University

Convention takes place in the London Road site of Reading University, based in its Great Hall, a popular concert venue, and its Music Education department.

View a campus map here. You can also download the university’s conference guide here, which has the map and lots of useful information in it.

You can see the location of the London Road campus here.

Arriving at the Campus

For information on travel, see our Travel to Reading page.

If you arrive on foot, you will either enter the Campus through the Porters’ Lodge, or via White Gates car park. Either way, registration is in the entrance to the Great Hall, pictured above, which is clearly signposted within the campus.

On arrival you’ll be given a personalised delegate leaflet with the session venues and a floor plan, as well as a programme with all the exhibitor details in it. You can download a generic copy of the delegate leaflet now here.

Convention locations

Our exhibition, registration, tea and coffee, lunch and some sessions will be in the Great Hall, marked ‘A’ on the map. We are also using rooms in building B and C. The cloisters are covered, so no need for a brolly between rooms!

Our delegate reception will be manned throughout the weekend, so do come and see us if you’ve any questions – or just to say hello!

Accessibility

  • There are disabled parking bays in White Gates car park close to the Great Hall.
  • All our session facilities are accessible either on one level or via a ramp.
  • Accessible toilet facilities are located in the Great Hall and in the Music Education building.
