Our 2025 Convention site is open!

Our 39th Convention is approaching very shortly! Our Convention site has the full timetable, as well as details of our presenters, exhibitors and lots of useful information about travel and our venue.

Join us for a weekend of workshops, repertoire, exhibition and networking for everyone who leads singing, whatever their experience. Come for a day, or come for the weekend.

Catch up with colleagues, meet new ones, browse new repertoire, brush up on skills with leading practitioners and take part in debate. Convention is for anyone and everyone involved in leading singers of any age. It’s a place where everyone is an equal, whatever their experience. Leading a choir can be lonely! Everyone is your colleague at Convention, whether you’re tentatively taking the first steps into leading singers, or you’re one of our best-known choral leaders and composers.

If you haven’t booked your place yet, do get your booking in soon – places are limited!

Thank you for coming to Reading!

Thank you for making our 38th Annual Convention such a memorable one! We were delighted to see so many delegates and exhibitors. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and to meet lots of new ones too.

Let us have your feedback

With a new time of year and a different format over the last two years, we’re keen to have your feedback on the weekend! Help us plan future events by completing the brief feedback form which you can access here.

Sunday updates!

If you’ve been with us in Reading today, we hope you’ve had a great day! If you’re with us again tomorrow, or are joining us as a Sunday delegate, here are just a few useful updates to our schedule. Session 2b: repertoire discovery – member composers We’ve had lots of submissions from member composers, so this is a bumper session and will therefore start at 9.10am, rather than 9.30am. Do come along and hear lots of new choral works for all types of choir, introduced almost entirely by the composers themselves. Session 2a: masterclass with Sarah Tenant-Flowers We’ve had some delivery problems with repertoire and therefore we don’t have hard copies of Carols for Choirs 6 as planned. We have been sent pdf files of the carols which our conductors have chosen and it would be extremely helpful if those attending could download them onto their phone or tablet, preferably in advance.

You can access the files, and all our repertoire resources in the the delegate only area of the website, or via the email sent to all delegates.
