Naveen Arles BCA FRSA has established himself as an energetic, inspirational vocal leader and animateur. Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and founder of MDBrunch, his 40 years in music incorporates 30 years of creating singing groups of all ages and skills.
Nav’s ability to motivate people to try music and train any group of people means he successfully delivers workshops in various contexts including executive management training courses, wellbeing support groups and in prisons. His choirs have toured with Hugh Jackman, Take That, Lulu; performed with Michael Buble, George Ezra, Alexandra Burke, on TV, for HRH King Charles III and welcomed the guests for Michelle Obama’s exclusive UK book launch.
Nav’s experience and social justice work has led him to both be invited onto the council of the Association of British Choral Directors (ABCD) and to join a 10 person consultancy panel to advise Hal Leonard Europe on their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies. His youth choir has been partnered with the BBC Singers creating mentoring and training pathways for disenfranchised youth in East London.
Thanks to his work Nav was selected to receive the British Citizen’s Award (BCA) at the Palace of Westminster and since 2021 has been privileged to work extensively with world famous ‘Tenebrae’ leading their schools outreach work and developing outreach work in both across London on an ongoing basis. 2023-24 saw Nav directing the Chamber Choir of Trinity College, leading singing events at the Royal Opera House (London) and joining the National Youth Choir’s leadership team.
