Elaine Moohan


Dr Elaine Moohan studied at the University of Glasgow, gaining BMus and MA degrees, and the University of Manchester for the degrees of MusM and PhD. She is currently a senior lecturer in Music at The Open University, based in the OU in Scotland office in Edinburgh. Her current research project, The Complete Works of Robert Johnson, was supported by a Small Humanities Research Grant from The Royal Society of Edinburgh. Other research interests include the history of music in Glasgow from the pre-Reformation cathedral through to the end of the long eighteenth century, as well as being co-investigator on the AHRC-funded Listening Experience Database project.
